**Elemental Odyssey** is a top-down roguelike bullet heaven where you play as a young man who just finished his studies—an enthusiastic researcher with a solid background in science who finds himself bonded to a volatile magical artifact called the **Obsidian Arm**. This prosthetic is a heat-sink that converts raw magical power into devastating spells.

But here's the catch: **The arm is not a system; it is a physical burden where every spell you cast generates heat**.

*   **0-50% Heat**: Safe zone, normal power.

*   **50-80% Heat**: +50% damage, -30% cooldowns, -20% mana costs.

*   **80-100% Heat**: Maximum bonuses, but overheating is imminent.

*   **OVERHEATED**: 5 seconds of disabled casting, 20 HP self-damage, zero bonuses.
